Many are made by obscure companies in China, and in many cases it is difficult to track down where the batteries really come from. They may be very cheap, but perhaps a risk to the safety of home with potential fire hazards that come with substandard electronic and electrical products. 
Whether you buy from us or from another dealer, please be careful to take a bit of time and learn about what you are buying. A little bit of brain power will save you plenty of money in the long run. It is much as it is when researching any other hardware before buying. It must be practical both in price and in usefulness.
